Thank you
Just wanted to give a little thanks to the people who have reached out and showed support for the blog and what I am trying to do with my life. I love doing this and to see so many people reach out and talk with me is something that I appreciate a lot.
The moral reward that I get is something that I will never take for granted. I make a decent amount of money for someone at my age in my position. But I will not hesitate to say that when someone gives me a compliment it makes me feel more loved and cared for then a check ever will.
The happiest day I have had on campus occurred just a few weeks ago at a party. A party, something I rarely do is party mostly because I do not enjoy large crowds of people and uncomfortable situations where risk is a possibility (I really do feel like dexter sometimes, minus all the killing). But anyways, I decided to go to this particular party because it was at my best friend, Asa's house.
There were four people at this party who I have not seen since high school. People who I probably didn't even say more than a "hi how are ya" to. These four people I thought I would never see again but I did and I greeted them with great enthusiasm. They reciprocated that and two of them even said how much they loved my blog and how much they enjoyed what I was writing. That, that is everything I have worked for. That makes up for the forced solitude and the moments where I felt like I should stop everything I was doing.
There are not very many moments where I feel as if I truly happy, but that was one for sure where I could feel it. It circles around back to when I talk about how you should give someone a compliment whenever you can. It takes little to no effort on your part and it could make a monumental impact on someones's life.
So once again, thank you to all the people that have shown their support in the past year or so. I am trying to figure out a way to make a difference in this world and your support is always appreciated.
